About Nuby Pediatrics
Nuby Pediatrics is a family oriented practice where making children feel safe and happy and well is our number one priority! Also making sure they know that "the Doctor" is there to help them, not hurt, (even if it does just a little bit). Our goal is to make sure our children and your children grow up healthy, safe and happy and hope they learn to understand that the visit to the doctors office is not a sentence of doom but rather an enjoyable experience.
We, the staff here at Nuby Pediatrics make it our personal mission to make sure every child whether visiting for a wellness or physical check up or because they are already ill, leaves the office knowing "Dr Nuby-doo" is their friend and is there to help.
Meet the Staff
Dr. Marquis Nuby, is in process of re-certifying for his Board Certification in Pediatrics. He has been in medicine for 15 years, treating children exclusively for 10 years. He has two children and has lived in Denton, Texas for 4 years. When not treating children, Dr. Nuby enjoys basketball, dancing and listening to jazz. Come by and meet the Doctor.
Keri, has been an LVN since 1999. Currently, she is going to school to get her RN. She has been with Nuby Pediatrics since Feb. 2006 and has worked with Dr. Nuby for 2 years prior to the opening of Nuby Pediatrics. She and her husband, Scott, have two children and have lived in Denton for 13 years.
Lacey, has been an RN since 2000 and worked exclusively in pediatrics over the past 7 years. She has been with Nuby Pediatrics since May 2007 and worked with Dr. Nuby for 1 year prior to the opening of Nuby Pediatrics. She lives outside of Denton with her two children.
Margo, Our Office Manager, has been with Nuby Pediatrics since it opened February 1st, 2006. She has worked in medical for 14 years and in management for 18 years. She and her husband, Russell, have 2 children and a variety of pets. When not working, she enjoys music, running, traveling and cooking.
Jeanette has been with Nuby Pediatrics for 1 ½ years and in the medical field for over 20 years, mostly in pediatrics. She has 3 children and 1 grandson and has lived in Denton most of her life.
Mari has been with Nuby Pediatrics for 1 ½ years and in the medical field for 11 years. She worked with Dr. Nuby at Cook Children’s prior to coming to Nuby Pediatrics 1 ½ years ago. She and her husband, Mark have 2 children.
Yesenia, has been an MA (Medical Assistant) for 5 years. She worked with Dr. Nuby prior to coming to Nuby Pediatrics 1 ½ years ago. She and her husband, Juan, live in Fort Worth with their two children.
Crystal, has been an MA for 2 ½ years and been solely in pediatrics. She has worked for Nuby Pediatrics for 1 ½ years. She lives in Denton with her son
